When your equipment breaks down in Central Texas, every hour of downtime costs money.
That's where I come in.
My name is Keltin. I am 23 years old and run a mobile welding business.
I recently moved here to Central Texas from Michigan to grow my welding business.
You may ask how I got here.
Six years ago, I started welding school and began welding at a Navy shipyard building the LCS class (combat ship) on an overhead repair crew.
After building my skills and experience, I eventually moved on and began welding parts for Cat and Komatsu.
This is where I eventually ended up doing 4x the amount of work of one man.
I had the work ethic, but wasn’t being paid for the amount of effort I was putting in.
When I went to ask for a $5/hour raise, I was laughed at.
I knew at this point I needed to start my own business if I actually wanted to accomplish my dreams, so I quit that day.
I started my own company with a generator and a $200.00 AC stick buzz box and began building the company from the ground up.
As I began to get steady jobs and satisfied customers, I could see a vision for what my business would become.
I knew I had the work ethic and the skills to make this possible, but I had one major problem with where I was living – Michigan winters.
The Michigan winter was supposed to cause a 90% decrease in income, but it ended up causing a 97% and eventually a 100% decrease in income.
While I still managed to get a few jobs, it wasn’t consistent enough to keep the business running smoothly.
At this point I knew I had to take action.
I either start selling equipment or take the risk and move across the country to Central Texas.
After some thinking and long talks, my girlfriend and I made the decision to move to Austin.
Making this last-minute move and escaping the winter shutdown that was killing my business wasn't an easy decision, but it was necessary.
Although I’ve only been here a little over 2 months, the longer I am in Austin, the more I am convinced I made the right decision.
My commitment is to operate with integrity, transparency, and the work ethic to get your job done right the first time - every weld I make is backed by my personal guarantee.
No matter what job I take on, I am open and honest with my customers and do the best I can to provide them with quality welds that last.
My mission is to serve as many people as I can and provide outstanding service.
From Navy combat ships to Cat heavy equipment, I've welded it all.
Now I'm bringing those skills directly to your Central Texas home/worksite.
