A HUGE thank you to the crew that came out today to help harvest and haul the rye! 🌾🚜
​We got out in the field, fired up the vintage iron—including the Oliver Super 88 with the McCormick binder and the Farmall 300 pulling the racks—and got the rye cut, bound, and loaded up.
​It takes a great crew to keep these classic traditions and vintage farm equipment running, and we couldn't do it without our incredible volunteers. This rye is all prepped and ready for threshing at our annual show this August!

​Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up for our Annual Threshing Show! There’s nothing quite like the sound and sight of vintage iron out in the field doing what it was built to do.
​Bring the whole family out to experience living history, live harvesting and threshing demonstrations, vintage tractors, steam engines, and good old-fashioned community fun!

⚠️ Weather Alert:

Today's Summer Market at Blackberry Farm is CANCELLED. While we normally move inside during regular rain, the threat of severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and large hail poses too much of a safety risk today. We feel it's best to cancel altogether. Stay safe, everyone! ⛈️

Getting the grounds and equipment ready for the big show! 🚜🌾
​We’ve been hard at work at The Blackberry Farm making sure everything is in tip-top shape for August! Lately, we've been getting some eyes on the binder, tuning it up, and deep-diving into repairs on the McCormick threshing machine. ⚙️🔧
​We are also completely re-doing one of the bundle wagons from the frame up. As you can see in the photos, the old wood definitely saw better days, but she's going to look incredible once we get the new deck laid down! 🪵🔨
​The fields are looking beautiful, and we can’t wait to see all this vintage equipment out there doing what it does best.
