My favorite thing about Grand Rapids is how many big city level public spaces there are in such a small town. The pinnacle of that for me is GRPM, some of the great exhibitions that make their way around the world have come here and that’s a testament to those who continue to support the Museum.

We’ve been involved with GRPM since I took over at Tontin in 2019. We’ve supplied many thousands of turning blanks over the years for the demonstration lathe, because of course we need to be in the woodshop. However I got wind of an issue and made a more substantial donation last year to help with a project near and dear to my heart, more on that soon.

For now, go see what’s happening at GRPM, the new exhibits, the planetarium upgrade will be done soon, and look into the expansion!
