The FVC team spent the day giving back at a local Habitat for Humanity site, helping create safe and affordable housing for families in our community.

A big thank you to Habitat for Humanity of Kent County for having us and to our employee volunteers for giving their time to make a difference. Together, we’re building more than homes — we’re building community, hope, and opportunity.

Big congrats to the South Haven Area Water Sewer Authority (SHAWSA) and The City of South Haven on the ribbon cutting for their WWTP improvement project! FVC alongside our sister company Fleis & VandenBrink, was proud to serve as the design-builder on this critical upgrade.

Key improvements included aeration system upgrades, clarifier flow split structure, a new UV disinfection system, and digester boiler replacement. Funding support came through Michigan’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund. These improvements will extend the facility’s life, boost energy efficiency, and reduce chemical use, bringing a cleaner, more sustainable future for the community!
