Celebrating 50 years of an iconic New York landmark.
Leitner-Poma of America was proud to join the Roosevelt Island community, RIOC, elected officials, residents, and partners to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Roosevelt Island Tramway.
As the operator and maintainer of the Tram, we are honored to help keep this unique transportation system moving safely and reliably for more than 3 million riders each year. The celebration was also an opportunity to recognize the dedicated operators, mechanics, attendants, and support staff whose professionalism and commitment make that possible every day.
Congratulations to Roosevelt Island, RIOC, and everyone who has played a role in the Tram's remarkable history. Here's to the next 50 years.

There are exciting things happening in Western Canada. We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc (RCR) on the installation of four new lifts at RCR resorts in British Columbia: Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort! Construction kicks off this spring at Kimberley, with Fernie and Kicking Horse following in 2027.

What a week in Carlsbad. The NSAA National Convention & Tradeshow brought together the best in the ski industry, and we left feeling inspired, grateful, and energized for what's ahead.

As a proud platinum sponsor, we were honored to kick off the event with a welcome reception where we shared meaningful conversations, craft cocktails, and even better company. There's nothing quite like getting the whole industry on one patio. And of course, there was the annual dinner with our friends at Prinoth Snow Groomers, HKD Snowmakers, Skytrac Lifts, and skadii —one of our favorite traditions.

Beyond the hospitality, it was especially exciting to get the ball rolling on our new surface lift initiative and terminal design work. The dialogue with operators, planners, and partners was exactly the fuel we needed heading into the next chapter.

Thank you to NSAA and everyone who stopped by, shared a drink with us, and helped make Carlsbad one for the books. We'll see you next year.
