Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team - JOB LOCATION **Grand Junction, CO**. You must be in the area or willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. This position requires proficiency in various welding techniques, as well as experience with power tools and machining. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in assembling and fabricating components for our projects, have excellent work ethic, and customer service skills, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Duties:
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project specifications.
Utilize multiple welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
Assemble parts and structures according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively on the job site.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Be highly motivated and a self-starter.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Some regional travel.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency in welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
Familiarity with operating some machinery is preferred.
Strong understanding of basic math principles for precise measurements and calculations.
Experience using various power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass consistent drug and alcohol screenings and hold oneself to a high personal and professional standard.
