Position: Electrical Technician
Classification: Full time, Non-Exempt, Benefits Eligible
Salary: $21.75 - $32.93 per hour
Reports to: Jenny Nichols
Date: January 31, 2025

Essential Duties/Responsibilities as follows, other duties may be assigned.
• Must understand/demonstrate all safety requirements. May need to attend customer training.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics and standards.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Test electrical systems using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megohmmeters.
• Critically think to effectively troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Identify and install necessary replacement parts in accordance with the National Electric Code.
• Complete paperwork such as timesheets, job orders, and checklists.
• Maintain/Operate truck and trailer in accordance with all DOT regulations including vehicle inspection reports.
• Travel may be required to customer field locations 50% of the time.
• Field service work may include the need to operate a manual or motorized boat, and deploying heavy power cables, mooring lines and floats across ponds.
• Experience in VFD and PLC programming a plus.

Competency:

• Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems.
