Quite the difference in working environments in the past week.

From -35° windchills in NW Minnesota to 92° for a high today in Phoenix!

So, I’m at Runnings after work — just peacefully strolling the aisles like a tax-paying citizen who came in for one thing and somehow has a cart.

Across the aisle there’s a husband walking a few steps behind his wife. Normal scene. Harmless. Rural romance in its natural habitat.

And then…

BRRRRRRRRRT!!!

This man lets one rip so aggressively it could’ve qualified as a livestock call.

His wife spins around, absolutely horrified, eyes wide like sir we are in public and Jesus can hear you.

Without missing a beat, I yell across the aisle:

“GOOD PUSH!”

The husband looks over and sees me for the first time — the panic on this man’s face… immediate survival mode.

He points at his wife and blurts out,

“OH THAT WAS HER!”

I fire back instantly:
“I WAS TALKING TO HER.”

Friends… I have never seen someone try to spiritually exit their body so fast. That woman looked like she wanted the earth to open up and swallow her right there between the cattle feed and the Carhartt jackets.

She started denying it, of course. But it was too late. The damage was done. The blame had been assigned. The aisle acoustics had reverberated.

Honestly, the comedic timing between two complete stranger husbands has never been more perfectly choreographed. Shakespeare couldn’t have written it better.

Marriage is hard.
Farm store echo is harder.

10/10 experience.
Will absolutely shop here again.

As a pipeline inspector working in Viking, MN, where temperatures are currently -3°F, I spend most of my time in my truck, idling for 11 to 12 hours daily. My 2024 Chevy 6.6 Liter Duramax's Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) recently plugged with soot, causing the engine to enter 'limp mode' and limiting its speed to 45 mph. Honestly , it struggled to even get that!

I quickly found that there is a learning curve to operating a modern diesel vehicle, especially one with all of these ridiculous EPA-mandated emissions systems.

To address the plugged DPF issue, I took my truck to Driscoll's Auto Service in East Grand Forks, MN, where their excellent team of mechanics removed, cleaned, and reinstalled the DPF allowing for a stationary regeneration.

This experience showcases the value of the Banks Power iDash Pro in maintaining optimal diesel engine performance. I will definitely use this module in all future diesel-powered vehicles.

The following steps detail the process for initiating a stationary regeneration using the Banks Power iDash Pro.
