It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of the president of Webster Foster & Weston Consulting Engineers, Dale Bergum. He will be greatly missed and leaves behind an amazing legacy of engineering that will be hard to rival.

This is a full-time year-round entry-level position. Criteria as follows:

Associate’s Degree with surveying, civil experience, or 2 years similar experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD preferred
Legible handwriting and accurate spelling required to log data
Ability to learn/work with design programs
Ability to work outside/do occasional physical labor
Ability to perform surveying and staking
Ability to lift 75 lbs and climb into manholes
Assist engineers and technicians in the field
Ability to assist in office duties as needed

Work 40+ hours a week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends. Wages depend on experience of applicant.

Minimum experience: 2 years or Associate of Arts degree in engineering, surveying, or drafting.

Perform engineering assignments from concept through completion of construction, duties include
conceptual drawings
design/layout
design calculation/analysis
cost estimating
specifications
drawings
sketches
charts and reports
construction observation
and meetings with contractors, clients and the public.
Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, pipelines, water and sewage systems, and waste disposal units
NDDOT experienced preferred
Legible handwriting and accurate spelling
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Perform surveying and staking
Coordinate with engineers and other design team members
Organize and maintain project files
Ability to obtain registration as an engineer intern within 6 months

Work 40 hrs/wk, M-F & occasional weekends. Wages depend on experience of applicant.
