We had an absolute blast last week at Burlington Christian Academy’s Touch-A-Truck event! 🚛🎉

Year #5 for us, and it just keeps getting better. There’s nothing quite like seeing a kid’s face light up when they climb into a big concrete mixer truck… or realize just how loud a horn can be 😄

We were proud to represent Grooms Heavy Trucks and share a little about what we do—especially teaching the next generation all about concrete (because let’s be honest… it’s pretty solid stuff 😉).

Huge thank you to Burlington Christian Academy for having us back again. We’re already looking forward to next year!

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Charles Sedoris 🌟

Today we’re excited to spotlight Charles, our Office Manager for our SOBX Chemicals line.

Charles has been a valued part of Grooms Heavy Truck Sales for 6 years, and his dedication shows in everything he does. As Office Manager of SOBX chemicals , his days are anything but boring! From blending chemicals to shipping, receiving, and invoicing, Charles keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

When asked what originally drew him to the company, Charles shared that a friend who previously worked here spoke so highly of the company that he knew it was a place he wanted to be part of. Six years later, we’re glad he made that decision!

What does he enjoy most about his job?
“Everything.” 🙌
Charles says this is the first job he’s truly been happy to show up to every day. He especially appreciates the independence he’s given and the trust placed in him to manage his responsibilities.

One accomplishment he’s most proud of is seeing the growth of the SOBX product line over the years. Being part of that growth and watching the company continue to expand has been incredibly rewarding.

Charles’ hard work and reliability help drive the continued success of both SOBX and Grooms. We’re grateful to have him on the team!
