Things are coming together. Ten years ago I started the studio in hopes racing vintage bikes and cars, and supporting other racers through my craft. Patience pays off. In my debut race at Roebling Road I led parts of the race from starting in last position, including the second to last turn which I pushed too hard and had the front end take me halfway across the track which killed my momentum and let two people by on the final straight for 3rd. A month later, two more podiums at CMP including a battle for the lead in the GP200 and another battle for second. Between the two races I built the aluminum gas tank, stainless fairing stay and painted the bike. I look forward to further development including a titanium exhaust and a carbon fiber seat and front fender. Thank you to my dad for letting me adopt this bike 🙏.

Bimota YB8 Furano out the door and heading to a collection of 60 others. When I mentioned to the owner that my research showed 4 of these in the US (they made 50 total), he said “well there was 3… then I imported 3 more from Japan”. Hundred of hours of labor poured into this machine. It made me a bit emotional looking at it last night. At times in the middle of the grind it can be everything except romantic. Then there is the little bit at the end that touches you.

In two weeks, on Saturday July 12th I will be putting on a 5 hour metal shaping and tig welding class. No experience needed. We will cover metal shaping, tig welding and metal finishing basics. You will learn to weld stainless steel and aluminum. 4 spots left at $400 dollars.
