We here at WAOR didn’t do our annual September 11th memorial post this year. Not because anything that happened this week was more tragic or more painful than 9/11, but just took time to reflect. We don’t do politics here, never have and probably never will. We care about our creator, our country, our families, and our customers. We respect the beliefs of other others and hope they will do the same.
The events of this week are a good reminder that those who wish to take away our rights, our freedoms and our lives come in many forms. A reminder that evil is alive and well. That evil targets the innocent, and when they are the most vulnerable. That evil inspires the coward to slither in, to scurry away, and always attempt to avoid accountability. That evil confuses terrorism with courage. Finally, that evil cheers when an advocate of civil discourse is assassinated in front of their wife and children.
But it’s also a reminder that the good people do not cower in the face of evil, and will always hold the doers of evil accountable.
To those murdered on 9/11/2001, and on 9/10/2025, we will never forget. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
