Dismukes is a registered professional civil engineer and practices across a broad range civil engineering disciplines. Areas of work include; commercial and residential site development planning, structural and foundation design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, stormwater management and stormwater quality, civil infrastructure projects including dams, bridges, roadway, water, and sew
er. In private practice, Mr. Dismukes has designed and oversaw construction of many projects in these areas. Prior to forming Jason Dismukes, LLC, Mr. Dismukes held engineering positions with Roald Haestad, Inc. and Lenard Engineering, Inc. Through these positions Mr. Dismukes gained significant experience and was responsible for design of the company’s large infrastructure projects. Projects included dam rehabilitation, modification, and reconstruction design; design of sewer mains and sewer pump stations as well as water distribution facilities including mains, pump stations and storage tanks, bridge design, ponds, subdivisions, residential and commercial site development, stream channel modifications and stabilization, subsurface sewage disposal systems, and resident engineering. Prior to attending the University of Connecticut, Mr. Dismukes served four years in the United States Navy with three and half years onboard the USS Samuel B. While assigned to the Roberts, Mr. Dismukes was deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm and participated in the liberation of Kuwait. Dismukes is a Veteran of Foreign War.
