2GR Boundary Oil Pump issue fix. Read no further if Boundary has fixed this on current versions. This is a Ross damper but same would need to be done for factory damper.

2GR intake plenum pull Part 2. Thanks to OnPointDyno for the inspiration. Big thanks to Renae Hux for taking a face full of e75 to get the best camera angle. Once again thank you Zach Adams for manning the clever lever. Dyno sheet included. Losses till 6500. It's certainly not the plenum or throttle body holding this intake back.

2GR intake plenum pull during dyno run. Ever since I saw the OnPointDyno 350z intake testing I have always wanted to do a plenum pull dyno myself. Well here we are. The MR2 is a bit scarier to perform this on as engine is right over the dyno roller. That is why I fabbed up the lever so my friend Zach Adams could man the de-capping. The intake sound on decel is my favorite part. Enjoy.

More 2GR intake testing today. These 2 graphs are to answer some questions from yesterday. FMW intake with addition of cold air pipe. Due to how huge the plenum is, I was unable to connect an elbow to throttle body till I got to the 4.25" spacer. Stack showed very minor gains and still less power than stock intake up until 6500rpm. The 2nd graph is a 32mm spacer on stock lexus 450H (number 4) intake. Very solid gains almost everywhere under 6k. I think this is a great mod for pickups with a 6200rpm limiter.

2GR intake manifold dyno testing. FMW low profile base with Holley hi-ram plenum. I tested no spacer, 1" spacer, 2" spacer, 3" spacer, and a 4.25" spacer. The conclusion, since it's just a factory parallel runner design, this is just another way to get factory manifold results. If you run this base, get as much spacer as you can tolerate. I was warned the results might not be great. But.. I love to test all things and report the results. Enjoy.

2GR-FE intake manifold testing. The Frankenstein Motor Works low profile and V1 are up next. Check my previous posts for the CNCInnovations and OEM intake tests. All tests performed on my stock 2GRFE. Same dyno, same fuel, same compression, same lower intake, etc. Mods are long tube headers, x-pipe, electric water pump, and ported lower intake. Tuned on Fueltech FT600. All dyno runs will be shared for comparison . Thsnks to Samuel and Dan for sending intakes to test. Any variation of these parts you want to see tested?
