It's with a heavy heart that I must tell all our loyal Tennessee Speed Sport customers that after 60 years of serving the middle Tennessee community and automotive enthusiast from across the country that we will make our final pass, our final lap, our final cruise in on July 29th, we will close permanently.
We have sold the company and the new owners are not in the retail business, only wholesale but they have been fantastic and made a new home for all the employees who chose to stay on.
My father J.D. Eatherly started Speed Sport in 1962 selling speeds parts and accessories at the 1705 Broadway end of the Rayco auto service center in downtown Nashville.
For 60 years we have served racers, hot rodders, 4 wheel drive, muscle car and everyday automotive enthusiast, we've hosted and sponsored car shows, racing events, race cars, little league teams, the Fireman Funds, the Police Leagues, D.A.R.E. and way too many others to list.
We are so grateful for the patronage and support we received from our customers and the automotive community in middle Tennessee, but most of all we are proud to have provided a place that employed many, many Tennesseans to come and work and be able to support their families, they were the driving force that helped build this business and we couldn't have earned the trust and loyalty of our customers over the years without their hard work and dedication, so thank you to all of our employees past and present.
We are also grateful for 60 years of great vendor relationships and for the sales reps that called on us, what an awesome industry to be a part of, our family and our staff forged many personal relationships that will continue to live on.
Obviously none of this would have been possible without our father J.D. Eatherly, my brother Steve Eatherly, Josh and my son Chris and our respective families, may J.D. and Steve be at peace now and we shall see you soon.
So the next time you grab a gear, rev that engine, climb that hill, make that pass, make that qualifying lap or go to the cruise in, share a Speed Sport memory when you get to your destination and smile for us.

Tennessee Speedsport is a local family owned aftermarket automotive parts distribution company. We are currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Tennessee Speed Sport is looking for Full-Time Billing/Shipping Clerks who will Report to the Shipping Supervisor and work closely with inventory pickers to ensure the smooth, timely and correct delivery of completed orders to our customers. You must be motivated and help the teams to ensure targets are achieved and customers’ expectations are met to the highest of standards. You will be expected to ensure that high quality standards set out adhered to at all times.
Shifts ranging from 11:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Thursday & Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support in managing daily scheduling of shipments and branch transfers.
•Provide accurate and timely documentation as needed, related to shipments and receipts.
•Entering in orders, have strong computer skills to include working with AS400 or Microsoft Excel, be able to work with numbers, adding / subtracting and typing them into spreadsheets.
•Responsible for all documents & administrative duties related to shipments, receipts, and ensuring all are complete and accurate.
•Matching Documents, invoices, shipping labels and packing slips to ensure the customers get the correct products.
•Responsible for figuring freight cost, printing bill of lading, invoice prep & filing of documentation.
•Print daily invoices tickets, assist loader with inventory and loading issues using RF Smart and AS400 style software.
•Verify company delivery route orders loading accuracy.
•Follow all Safety, Sanitation, & Security policies & procedures, as required.
•Ensure that all sales orders are picked, checked & packed ready for a timely dispatch, ensuring that all documentation is accurately completed and any shortfalls are avoided, mitigated and/or communicated correctly.
•Ensure good housekeeping by implementing, promoting and sustaining a safe, organized and productive 5S working environment.
•Continually communicate and liaise with all departments to understand their demands, priorities and achievements.
•Build good working relationships with others and ensure your direct report is kept informed of any quality, performance and personnel problems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 5 years of previous experience/One to three years' previous shipping/packer experience preferred
•Warehouse Experience is a plus

PREFERRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
• Experience with WMS and Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Office)
• Experience with zone pick and put away
• Experience with Logistics software UPS World Ship, Fed Ex and other 3rd party logistics software

Tennessee Speed Sport is a local family owned Automotive Aftermarket Parts Warehouse in Goodlettsville, TN. This is a High Energy fast paced environment with unlimited potential. P&E received the SEMA WD of year in both 2004 and 2009. Over the years, two things have defined P&E - tenacity and family. That never-give-up attitude has been the founders from the beginning. We are looking for a Full-Time Material Handler Receiver who will Report to the Receiving Supervisor and work with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth, timely and correct delivery of completed orders to our customers. You must be motivated and help the teams to ensure targets are achieved and customers’ expectations are met to the highest of standards. You will always be expected to ensure that high quality standards set out are adhered to.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Receive and inspect material, safely load and unload trucks
•Keep track of incoming inventory
•Use RDF scanners to efficiently track and maneuver product through the warehouse
•Verify documentation and condition of product to assure quality standards are achieved
•Check product for damage, verify count, sign paperwork of acceptance
•Report all impaired or damaged merchandise items to direct report
•Assist in inventory counts
•Ensure the day to day warehouse tasks are completed as assigned
•Assist with warehouse picking and loading outgoing trucks as needed
•Use an extended reach forklift (6 foot) throughout warehouse in tight areas safely
•May operate hand truck, pallet jack, or other equipment to move product from receiving to storage location (put away)
•Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
•Completes paperwork or data entry for each movement.
•Maintain a holistic view of the business and understand how your team’s actions and performance integrates and depends on others
•Follow all Safety, Sanitation, & Security policies & procedures, as required.
•Ensure good housekeeping by implementing, promoting, and sustaining a safe, organized, and productive 5S working environment.
