Administrative Assistant/Data Entry
Office Administration – Goodhue, MN
fabTech Inc. is looking for administrative help. You will be working in a small office and be very much involved in the day-to-day operations of our company.
Provide superior customer service support to both internal and external customers through the following (not limited to) daily tasks:
Your initial tasks will be:
• Develop a thorough understanding of fabTech’s business and our capabilities and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarize yourself with our inventory management system.
• Learn our order entry process.
• Verify purchase orders against receipt of goods.
• Develop a focus on customer service within the department that begins with a first point of contact and follow through.
• Processing orders, pack lists and quote requests.
• Continually updating parts and operations within our core system
• Handle customer service calls or direct them to the appropriate representative.
• Investigate and resolve inventory issues.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner involving the necessary persons.
• Manage open order report.
• Utilize necessary documentation and reference materials.
• All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High school degree / GED and 2+ years of related experience or Associates Degree and 1+ years of related experience
• Proficient skills with excel
• Proficient typing
• Attention to detail
• Experience in Data entry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing production
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while under pressure. Providing superior service and support under all conditions.
• The ability to communicate in a positive manner with internal employees, external vendors, dealer organizations, and customers
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Experience with MIE
