Big congratulations to SWEED’s own Carl Seeley, named to Recycling Today’s 30 Under 30 Class of 2025! 🎉

Carl’s journey with SWEED is the kind of story that reminds you what hard work, curiosity, and persistence can build. He started here in a part-time role, sweeping floors and cleaning the shop, moved into machining, earned his journeyman electrician license through an apprenticeship, and went on to learn controls programming. Today, he’s a Controls Engineer working directly with customers to fine-tune SWEED’s wire chopping lines and equipment across other product lines, helping keep SWEED systems running efficiently.

Carl leads by example, always willing to share knowledge, troubleshoot with teammates, and take on challenges head-on. His path from shop floor to controls engineering is a testament to the opportunities in the recycling industry and the bright future of this field.
