SMALL ENGINE/MATERIAL YARD ASSISTANT.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled person for our Small Engine / Material Yard. In this role, you will be responsible for running the POS (point of sale) , customer interface, billing customers, maintain & purchase parts to repair customer equipment, pickup/delivery of equipment and material. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount. Every day is different.
Duties
Bill customers for work done.
Handle POS (point of sale)
Interact with customers to provide service recommendations and explain repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Handle pickp and delivery of equipment for the small engine shop.
Handle pickup and delivery of material for our material yard.
Load customer vehicals, both residential and commercial, with material.
Order parts for small engine shop.
File records.
Skills
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
Familiarity with sales techniques can enhance customer interactions.
Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
Able to lift 50lbs.
Must have clean driving record.
