OUTSIDE PROCESSES ENGINEER
A recognized leader of precision CNC machining in the Aerospace Industry is looking for a talented and committed individual to join our team of professionals dedicated to producing the finest quality parts in our industry.
The position will report directly to the General Manager with heavy interaction with the Production Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 yrs experience in Outside Process Engineering in a CNC Machine Shop environment and will be focused on efficiency, and cost savings.
- BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience and knowledge of processes such as heat treating, plating, grinding, painting, chemical treatments, etc.
- Ability to interpret GD&T and blueprint requirements

3. Experience with Zeiss Calypso & U-Soft a plus.
4. Lay-out, 1st Piece, In Process, and Final Inspections.
5. Very Strong background in GD&T and ability to read and understand complex machining drawings, CAD Models a plus.
6. Use precision inspection measuring devices, such as: Johnson gauges, Sunnen gauges, Bore Gauges, etc. a plus
7. Familiarity with SPC Software, X & R Charts, Histograms a plus
8. Familiarity with ISO-9001:2008, AS9100, & TS16949 a plus.
