: Tom Bradley International Terminal ( ) is named after the 38th Mayor of . During his 20 yrs in office, Mayor Bradley pushed for expansion of and development of the terminals. He was only the 2nd African American mayor of any major US city.

goes to KDG Construction Consulting, a company that provides construction management services for construction projects in both the public and private sector. Lydia Kennard founded KDG Construction Consulting as a derivative of The Kennard Design Group, founded in 1957 by her father, Robert Kennard. The Kennard Design Group provided architecture and planning services, and became one of the largest and oldest African-American architectural firms in Los Angeles.
In the last year, KDG Construction Consulting has opened offices in Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego, and Washington, DC. The MBE also a location in Chicago.
"Our status as a minority-owned business enterprise in these new locations provides us with additional opportunities to meet with the procurement specialists for a number of public agencies that need the services that we provide, and has even resulted in agency staff putting us directly in contact with local businesses with whom we can partner to win new work," said Lydia Kennard, President and CEO of KDG Construction Consulting.
Ms. Kennard also noted that the company has started to receive personalized invitations to bid on projects by agencies that are looking to increase their utilization of minority-owned businesses.
