Throwback to when Tsurumi partnered with Enereau Systems Group Inc. to provide a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) system for a winery on the shores of Lake Erie. This project involved converting a holding tank into an equalization pretreatment system featuring Tsurumi’s VANCS™ submersible resin pumps and TRN submersible jet aspirating aerators.

Single phase pumps are widely used across a range of job sites, but like any equipment, issues can arise. If your pump overheats, we recommend the following:

• Ensure the pump has enough water coverage – refer to the manual or data sheets
• If the unit stops automatically, allow time for it to cool down before restarting
• Check the ventilation when operating the pump in a confined space

Many of Tsurumi’s pumps are built with features to prevent your pump from overheating, helping to mitigate the problem before it even arises.
