We'll they say you gotta give them away before you can win them and we certainly did that this week ! We ventured back to path valley speedway where We finally caught a break with the pill draw and that put us on the front row of a heat race. As usual The girls had plenty of speed in the car and we were able to finish second in the heat and get in the pill draw. Jocelyn nailed the redraw and put us on the pole for the feature. John Thompson ,Kyle Crouse and the kids got to work and dialed the hotrod in perfectly for the fast changing track conditions. They say you win as a team and loose a a team but this one falls entirely in my lap. We were able to get the lead at the drop of the green and pace the feild for the majority of the race but a half a dozen cautions would ultimately prove to much for me to handle. With the last few cautions coming later in the race i made some mistakes and struggled to reestablish the comfortable margin i had lead by most of the race. On the last restart i attempted to make the necessary adjustments for the changing track conditions but ultimately it wasn't enough and we would settle for a very close second place. Congrats to treyton lee on the win he drove a great race. I can't thank my wife Jessica King and my entire crew and family enough for all the help and support week in week out this year. We're getting closer and were having fun. We'll close out our season this coming weekend at Hagerstown Speedway
