Today's most memorable event with coffee:

A lady came in and bought a 20 oz cappuccino, she'd never had one before. Had me make it a mocha.

She took a sip, then a gulp, then she drank about half of it immediately, took breath and then she drank the rest.

I bet she felt like she was full of energy after that double shot of espresso!

But it makes me happy when I know that we could give her exactly what she wanted.

Well after the hot chocolate into the keyboard of the shop's laptop incident, I finally have it rebuilt, cleaned, and finished and re-hooked up to the sound and projector and I'm playing some nice relaxing jazz this morning.

Installed more equipment today, more outlets, and a countertop. Created some gift certificates for a mini vendor expo happening in our shop tomorrow.

Today we had a set of black chandeliers donated for the coffee shop.

I also won an ebay bid on a commercial milk steamer / frother it retails for $289 and we won the bid at $25.

Tomorrow we start serving lunch again, tomorrow is cheeseburgers and chips.

Melinda was making me Chai latte's this morning, 1/3 chai, 1/3 espresso, and 1/3 frothed milk. Very tasty.

We are closed this morning, we are going to Joplin for supplies and will be back this afternoon.

Last night was a lot of fun, we had probably a total of 40 people in here. :) We are having a youth group that meets here for study, and we have started a game design program group that is meeting here.

Kiki has been talking about doing some Christian karaoke singing as well.

I have a 100 year old faucet on my tub. The main body just cracked. I may try have it soldered in the furture but for now I am just going to have to buy a new faucet.

SO until I find a new faucet to use the sinks downstairs I will have to turn the water on upstairs, then run downstairs use it, then go back upstairs and turn it back off.

This means I will be closed tomorrow until I can get it fixed.
