Got a call for an emergency build on this. A company out of Oregon lost their DOT bumper on their semi trailer. We built a new one and got them back on the road. Not to sure why the bumper on the trailer itself was notched, since the old bumper was lost on the road. They asked us to fit the new bumper to them as best as we could. They were right where the mounting spots were so not too hard to get done for them.

This belly dump trailer was in rough shape. 36 years old and still in service. It had some of the most horrendous “repairs” done that I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t find replacement turnbuckles so we made new ones that are bigger and stronger. Whoever did the previous work on this trailer should be ashamed of themselves. We’ll be seeing it in the future to tackle crack repairs.
