Entry level positions in the high tech field of Oil Well Automation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(1) Provide onsite support in the field for components involved in the automation process such as installation, repair, and diagnosis of mechanical and low volt electrical devices that communicate with automation software and protocols;
(2) Assemble control panels and service the computerized systems that are designed to enhance human interaction;
(3) Troubleshoot low volt electrical and automation systems to resolve complex problems in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining thorough communication with internal and external stakeholders;
(4) Communicate and collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to accomplish common goals both in the office, shop, and in the field.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
(1) Desire to read, study, learn and comprehend complex low volt electrical equipment programming manuals;
(2) Excellent computer operation and communication understanding;
(3) Desire to work in the field in all weather conditions with both technical equipment and manual labor;
(4) Excellent organization skills, high attention to detail and project skills as all work will revolve around multiple on-going projects;
(5) Strong verbal and written communication skills.
(6) Good driving record, pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required;
