OBS phase 3.0 I guess. Doug Jerger put such an amazing paint job on this one we had to have Roadster Shop do the chassis then might as well do a 427” LT based engine with Texas Speed & Performance heads and GPI - Gwatney Performance cam with Performance Design intake. Engine builder is advancedmachineworks Wheels are from Billet Specialties and the interior from Armando Jr. & Jorge Torres Stainless Bros. helped with the amazing exhaust system and Unique Car Audio dialed the tunes in. The 10 speed transmission from All Gm Performance Cars Trucks and everything is controlled by an Speartech Inc. wire harness. Keeping track of everything on Dakota Digital gauges Aeromotive Fuel Systems keeps the engine fed. Can’t wait to get this one on the road after Grand National Truck Show Phenix Fittings fittings throughout this build and American Autowire completely re wired the truck

SmartFilm I stopped in this morning to check on getting this new toy to tinted, met the owner and he said he could do it today!!! Can’t get any better, yeah he went one step further and actually loaned me his personal truck for a few hours while they did the work. Got to call out great service when deserved.

Well we came out swinging this weekend, quick time for our group qualifying and third overall. Started 4th in our heat race and moved up to 2nd. Started 5th in the feature and trying to catch the leader while running second something went wrong and it got into the wall. Gary Taylor was absolutely hauling the mail passing a lot of cars before our night ended. The J&J Auto Racing sprint car was rolling with some help from Kaleb Montgomery on the chassis setup. We’ll be back for the next one. Nothing easy about racing. Race car tags

Finally got a chance to meet Patrick Sukraw and get a project going together. Custom airbox and intake tube for the LT engine in this OBS truck. 3D scanning today.

Brand new Vette in for an Borla Performance exhaust system. We removed the carbon fiber tips to cerakoteceramiccoatings black out the internal “tips” for a cleaner look. Sounds killer too.

What’s wrong in this video??? I’m not a fan of FiTech but this would make any fuel injection system not function properly. Especially when it’s on the side that has the oxygen sensor. Customer complained it runs like crap, weird

Automated engine break in testing. Brand new 427 tri power. We ran it ten cycles from 2500-3000 rpm at 30 seconds per cycle. Best way to break the rings in is with loaded testing not in neutral or park. I set it to about 150 foot pounds of torque and let the computer run the test. Completely hands off.

Get out of the heat and come to Show Low for some winged sprint car action...

“The Prez” Joshua Shipley is Locked and Loaded for some Gaerte Engines 360 Wing Desert Series action this Friday and Saturday July 10 and 11 at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway.

Along with the Winged 360 Sprints will be the Winged A-Class Micros, IMCA Hobby Stocks and IMCA Mod Lites.

General Admission is $25 and seniors $20!

This will be an event you won’t want to miss! Grandstands open at 5pm both days with racing at 7pm! If you can’t make it to the track, you can catch the action on SPEED SPORT 2.
