Lateral Load Engineering-

Our lateral engineering provides the builder with all of the necessary construction details, seismic straps and shearwall schedules to adequately brace their structure in both wind and seismic design. Once we recieve a finalized plan from the designer, builder or architect we gather all of the spectral and wind data in regards to the building site and run the building th

rough the worst projected earchquake and windstorm it will experience in the next 50 years. Once structural weaknesses are identified we call out the required bracing panels and seismic straps to ensure your safety if or when one of these natural disaster occures. Gravity Load Engineering-

Our gravity engineering provides the builder with all of the necessary construction details, structural connections and foundation design to adequately support the structure from the weight of itself and snow loads. Amnesty Reports-

At Hodge we provide structural observations and written reports for the Pierce County Amnesty program. Typical Engineering Fees
20 cents per square foot for Lateral Engineering
20 cents per square foot for Gravity Load Engineering
Additional fees are applied for commerical buildings, as well as high snow load or high risk projects. Hodge.
