Choose a system with adaptability.

Eliminate unnecessary steps and run parts faster. Avoid changeovers that require multiple steps, re-indicating, or cutting jaws. Keep the chuck on the spindle while you change adaptations. Small, inconsequential steps = hours of wasted earning potential.

I.D. clamping is often underestimated in manufacturing, yet it plays a crucial role in many applications where precision, process reliability, and accessibility are essential.

Since the 1990s, mandrels have complemented the HAINBUCH portfolio. MANDO represents the round clamping geometry for versatile I.D. clamping applications, while MAXXOS extends the range with a hexagonal geometry.

Today, mandrels are an integral part of many workholding applications – from conventional machining operations to highly precise manufacturing processes.

With the SPANNTOP clamping head, HAINBUCH introduced an innovation that transformed workholding technology. To this day, the principle remains the foundation of many products and applications.

Since 1980
SPANNTOP has established itself as a core workholding system at HAINBUCH.

Since 2005
TOPlus has expanded the system with a hexagonal clamping geometry.

Today
The HAINBUCH SYSTEM enables fast changeovers between different workholding set-ups through a wide range of adaptable solutions.

A system that has continuously evolved over decades – with a focus on precision, flexibility, and efficiency.

10/15/2026

Driven by curiosity, ingenuity, and the desire to make things better, HAINBUCH has been developing new solutions for decades. Some innovations have played a particularly important role in shaping both the company’s history and the workholding industry.

1958
The journey begins with precision workholding tools and collets.

1964
The first patented HAINBUCH invention is created: the quick-changing dividing head.

1973
The patented RS feedfinger enters series production.

1977
Gerhard Rall develops the SPANNTOP clamping head – an innovation that revolutionizes the industry. The system, consisting of a base unit and interchangeable clamping heads, significantly reduces set-up times. The three vulcanized segments of the clamping head provide an enveloping grip on the workpiece, substantially improving clamping efficiency. The invention was later patented across Europe and in the United States.

A look back at the beginnings of innovative workholding technology at HAINBUCH.

Anatomy of centroteX. What makes it work?

Every piece has a job, just like a pit crew. Each one does its part, in sync, so changeovers are quick, clamping is precise, and your spindle keeps turning. Swipe through to see how each piece helps you machine faster.

Take advantage of our offer, extended through the end of the month. Receive 50% off a standard machine adapter. https://ishortn.ink/email-need-for-speed

With the purchase of a plot of land on Erdmannhäuser Straße in 1951, the foundation was laid for today’s headquarters. What began on a modest scale has continued to grow step by step over the decades.

New manufacturing areas, additional warehouse and logistics spaces, modern office buildings, and finally the NEULAND Technology Center show how the site has grown and evolved over the years.

To this day, the heart of HAINBUCH beats in Marbach. The site is not only the company’s headquarters, but also the place where innovations are created, technology is advanced, and the future is shaped.
