After just 2 months with us, George has already made a strong impact by contributing valuable technical expertise, problem-solving, and support across multiple automation projects. National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) 2026, themed "America at Work: Making America Skilled Again", will be celebrated from April 26 to May 2, 2026, bringing together leaders in industry, education, and government to highlight the impact of Registered Apprenticeships and how apprenticeships build a skilled workforce.

At WSM, training the next generation isn’t just a goal, it’s a commitment.

In 2025, we had 4 Youth Machining and Welding Apprentices join our team, and most are still here today with another joining the team soon.
Over the years, most graduated and were hired full time; a few continued to return to WSM during school breaks and over the summer while they were in college.

We’re proud to support hands-on learning and career development in manufacturing.

On this World Day for Safety and Health at Work:

Be the Difference, Learn CPR!

Cardiac arrest can occur at any moment, turning an ordinary day into a life-threatening situation. That's where CPR certification becomes invaluable for helping to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and patrons.

At WSM we are committed to employee welfare. The well-being of our employees and their health are valued. Taking care of our team members and offer them a safe environment is our priority. We understand the importance of safety and preparedness. Seconds Count, CPR Saves.

This year again, 8 employees have been trained or renewed their CPR training with American Red Cross . With a training every other year, it’s more than 30% of our team that have learned the 7 steps of CPR.

Emergencies happen quickly and at any time, be trained in CPR can make the difference between life and death. You have the power to save a life. Train for the moments that matter!
