If you’ve ever been to Care Pharmacy, chances are you’ve met Rudy! He’s Anthony’s right-hand man, the fastest person in the store, and the guy who seems to fix things before they even break. 😉

Rudy wears many hats around the pharmacy. From helping with prescription deliveries and assembling wheelchairs, walkers, and home health equipment to translating for our Spanish-speaking customers, he’s always ready to lend a hand. He’s hardworking, dependable, bilingual, and someone our customers know and love — so much so that they ask for him by name!

Yes! While colds and the flu can share symptoms, there are some important differences!

🌿 The Common Cold

Usually causes a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, and a sore throat.
Symptoms tend to come on gradually.
Rest, fluids, and symptom-relief medications can help you feel better.
🤒 The Flu

Often comes on suddenly with fever, chills, body aches, headache, and fatigue.

Jenn is one of those people whose bubbly personality and contagious energy can brighten any room. She’s always smiling, always upbeat, and apparently, even pregnancy can’t slow her down!🤰

That’s right… Jenn is expecting BABY #4! 🎉 She and her husband, Steve, are wonderful parents to Luke, Jake, and Shay, with another baby boy on the way. 💙👶

When she’s not at the pharmacy or busy with her family, she’s baking delicious treats for her business, Island Buns , or organizing the Market in Pawleys Island every other Sunday! 🥖🎪

💊 Ask the Pharmacist: Are You Taking Too Many Vitamins?

The question: “Can taking too many vitamins or supplements actually be harmful?”

The answer: Vitamins and supplements can be helpful, but more isn’t always better! Taking multiple supplements or combining them with certain medications can lead to unwanted side effects or interactions. Some vitamins can even build up in your body when taken in excessive amounts.

Before starting a new supplement, check with your pharmacist to make sure it’s safe, necessary, and right for you. Your pharmacist can also help you spot ingredients you may be doubling up on without realizing it!
