Hope everyone has had a blessed day. Just wanted to share a project from today. Had a Mercury outboard lower unit come in for a repair on the skeg. We used t6061 aircraft aluminum to fab the skeg. Then welded to housing along with some blending with a grinder to shape.

Had a customer that was requesting a heavy walled 5/8 tube with a specific, very tight radius bend. When they don’t make the bender, Ernie’s Speed & Fab does!

We taken pride in building and designing products for our customers applications. But we also enjoy the challenge of projects that get brought to our shop as well that need repaired or resigned. This is a obsolete trolling motor bracket from a customers boat that he needed repaired. We had to machine off all broken and distorted metal and replace with new and machine down to a smooth flat surface. We then designed a new holder. We powdercoated it a semigloss black. Been very busy this weekend get allot of orders filled. Also been in the Halloween spirit around the shop with some of our horseshoe decor and signs. Hope everyone has had a blessed weekend!!!! We do more than build and design our own products but we also build custom work for customers as well. Here is a example of a guy that needed a set of trailer ramp brackets made. Instead of the flimsy factory style you mostly see we designed these from 3/16 plate steel and bent to spec and hand welded. This is a lot sturdier than the factory brackets and should stand up to any abuse. If you have any you need designed or built message us anytime. Thanks for everyone’s support!!!!!!!

Got some new products built and designed for the BX Kubota tractors (or any tractor with a 2.5 inch (or less) lip on top like the kubota style). These bracket allow for single bolt on grab hooks to be mounted to the top of the buck and clear the lip of the bucket. We also built a bolt on hitch for these style buckets.
