We had the opportunity to build this custom logo sign for 3 Goats Vineyard - Tasting Room and it turned out great.

CNC-cut 1/8" aluminum, powder coated, and mounted on custom machined stand-offs to give it that clean floating look. Simple design, but it comes to life once it’s mounted on that tile backdrop.

If you’re in Hillsboro, go say hi to Candice and Chris, grab a drink and check it out in person.

You'd be surprised where you may spot our installations- this one, built in 2017, can be found along the waterfront of the San Francisco Bay. Have you been to the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture? More information about this railroad-tie sculpture, designed by Matt Passmore, can be found here: https://fortmason.org/event/matt-passmore/

5 feet tall. Solid aluminum. Each one different. Look close and you’ll see faces hidden in the fins — silhouettes of youth once housed here.

Designed by artist Horatio Law, built and brought to life by the team here at Western Iron Works, these bells now stand at the Patricia Clark Children & Family Justice Center in Seattle, WA.

8 years ago today we put up our sign, shiny and new. Since then, it has weathered with time — a reminder of the years of work, projects, and people that have shaped this journey.

Thousands of projects later… from long nights to days on end without rest, we’ve done what it takes to meet deadlines and keep people moving forward. We’ve had the privilege of creating public art and sculptures in communities across the country — from Oregon to San Francisco to Raleigh, North Carolina — and many places in between. Our work has touched industries as varied as construction, mining, and wineries, all the way to dental offices, flower shops, and our own farming community here at home — where we’re often called in for a quick fix to keep a harvest on track. Even the occasional project for a well-known athlete or actor has found its way through our doors.

But no matter how big or small, what matters most is the trust our customers place in us, the dedication of our crew who’ve become like family, and the support of our small-town community that’s carried us through every step. We’re grateful for all of it.

Looking back on one of our first flyers. We opened shop in 2017 and continue to believe “no job too big, or too small!” Thank you all for being apart of Western Iron Works. This collection of photos shows just a few of our early projects, including a bus shelter you can spot near Hillsboro library. We’d love to see more in the comments.
