At the new Texas Heritage General Store & Workshop!!!!
That's right folks, Sarah and I have just acquired this spectacular example of early American craftsmanship. The Benchoff Building (on the right) was built in 1900 and has been unused for the last 30 years. We also acquired the small building to the left, which was one of the first banks in Menard. We have a lot of work ahead of us to get this building ready. Bottom line is this, Texas Heritage is about to expand in so many different directions. We have 8,000 square feet at our disposal and grand plans for every square inch. We now have a section on our website completely dedicated to the history of this building, our plans for the future, and full documentation of every step along the way.
