Here’s how signage needs shift as the project progresses:
→ Mobilization: Site access, perimeter and baseline PPE
→ Sitework: Excavations, open trenches and heavy equipment
→ Vertical build: Overhead work, scaffolds, ladders and cranes
→ MEP and fit-out: Electrical, confined-space and chemical hazards
→ Demolition: Falling debris, dust and restricted areas
→ Throughout the project: Pedestrian and traffic control at public edges

Planning by phase helps keep warnings relevant, reduces sign clutter and prevents important signage from becoming a last-minute need.
