By simultaneously removing equal amounts of material from two opposing surfaces, TCI Precision Metals can improve thickness control, flatness, parallelism, and part stability all in a single operation.

The process can reduce pre-machining costs by up to 50%, hold dimensional tolerances, flatness, and parallelism to ±.001″, and achieve surface finishes as fine as 16 Ra on aluminum and 8 Ra on ferrous alloys.
