This time of the year is awesome! Ski areas are testing their snowmaking systems with beautiful fall colors. Soon everything will be white.

Howelsen Hill is where I got my start in the industry in the 1990's. The snowmaking system is at least twice the size it was to cover the same ground.

Our friend Bryan will be missed. I got to spend time with him at Sipapu a week before he passed.

View Bryan John Edlund's obituary, send flowers, find service dates, and sign the guestbook.

I have a customer looking to move two snowmakers and a portable pump from near Madison, WI to our place in Garden Valley, ID (north of Boise).
Each Areco snowgun is slightly under 2000 # are under 8'6" wide, about 9' long and 7' tall. The wheeled carriages are triangles and can overlap. The pump is on a similar carriage. Total length about 25' and weight under 6000 #.
There will be equipment to load in WI and unload at CHS Snowmakers in Idaho. I can provide a couple of simple securement instructions to make sure covers don't blow off. I have transported snowmakers for over 20 years, but I can't grab these.
There are two red Arecos like in the photo. The second photo is of an identical pump.
Send me a price and availability. Just need them moved by the end of September.

The Spout Springs ski area in northeastern Oregon was recently purchased and plans are to reopen this winter. The Hagen Fire appears to have crossed the highway just south of the mountain.

Oregon DOT has cameras at Spout Springs showing plenty of heavy equipment in the area.

Pray for favorable conditions to keep the fire away from the ski areas and cool the fire.
