After 46 years our dear friend and legend, Jose Velez, retired from BHI. We put together a celebration with all social distancing and safety measures in place to honor him and his time with us. We'll see you soon Velez, your charm and smile will be sorely missed!

We've been busy! With so many local schools heading back to class, or attending class virtually, BHI wants our community to know we’ve got you covered!

BHI donated over 150 backpacks loaded with school supplies to our local Boys & Girls Club in hopes of making this transitional period a little easier for students. Additionally, we donated 100 face shields (made in-house by our staff) to Saint Simon and Jude Catholic School.

We take pride in giving back to our and local organizations, such as the Boys & Girls Club, as our way of showing our appreciation for all they do to enhance the lives of our future leaders.

We were honored to have AltaMed Health Services stop by this week with breakfast for our volunteers. Our colleague dropped off our donation of face shields to both of their COVID-19 testing locations last month in response to the PPE shortage.
