🔨 Tennessee Ace Hardware is looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier to join our team. We’re a locally owned hardware store that takes pride in providing great customer service and a welcoming shopping experience for our community.
Position Responsibilities
* Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
* Accurately process cash, credit/debit, and other transactions
* Answer customer questions and help direct them to products or departments
* Answer phones and assist with basic customer inquiries
* Keep the checkout and front-end area clean and organized
* Assist with stocking, pricing, and other store duties as needed
* Work as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
* Friendly and positive attitude
* Dependable and punctual
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable handling money and using a point-of-sale system
* Ability to work well with customers and coworkers
* Retail or cashier experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person
