So this is a page to do so and for my fans to see my progress and unique items. My name is Ethan Robinson. I'm a husky guy with a fantastic black beard. I've always been good at making things and have a life goal to do the things that I stereotypically look the part for. I've been a logger, carpenter, timber framer, firearm salesman and now a hobby blacksmith. I started blacksmithing January of 20
20, what a year to start anything. I scavenged and saved materials for over a year to make my first forge. It was a large brake drum with a badly welded, by me, tuyere with a free leaf blower for air. My first anvil was a small chunk of railroad track. While I saved up parts and pieces to start I watched every YouTube video I could on blacksmithing. I am 100% self taught and started the hobby 100% for free. I encourage those interested in the hobby to start as cheap as possible but it would be very beneficial to take classes, as i hope to do someday. I might even teach a few. Poncey Forge is named after the town it's in. Located in the South West Missouri town of Ponce de Leon, Poncey Forge sits at the mouth of the fountain of youth spring. A spring that was once known for its medicinal use. I hope you all enjoy my content and growth in this hobby and please if you want to support the business, buy something I have for sale.
