Moorevillle, MS 38857 Our club is active and growing. The group is made up of amateur radio operators from several cities throughout Northeast Mississippi and West Alabama. We are a diverse group with member interests covering nearly all areas of amateur radio operations. Contesting, chasing DX, CW, SSB, satellites, Field Day, weather spotting, and APRS, to list a

few. We came together for public service, in support of the local area in times of emergency, the expansion of amateur radio, and the support of the club's several VHF/UHF repeaters. These repeaters are open for use by any licensed amateur radio operator. All we ask when you are using our repeaters is that you please be courteous, respectful, and follow all rules as set forth by the FCC. Our regular monthly meeting is held the second Tuesday night of every month at the Itawamba County Development Corporation (ICDC) in Fulton, MS for fun and business. We arrive at 6 pm for "eat and greet" with the meeting starting at 6:45 pm or thereabout. Meetings begin with an exciting program, followed by club business and announcements.. All amateurs and non amateurs who have an interest are invited to come out and join us. Our group is active in ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and currently holds the weekly regional ARES net on Thursday nights at 8 o’clock local time on the 145.450 repeater. Once again all amateurs are encouraged and welcome to join this net. We completed the requirements and received our ARRL affiliation just over one year ago, as well as having an active ARRL Volunteer Examiner team that holds test sessions once each calendar quarter. These sessions are handicap-accessible and walk-ins are welcome. Most of our group works with and supports the local Skywarn network through the local practice nets and during severe weather. At this time we would like to invite you to join us for fun, fellowship, and sometimes serious work in the world of amateur or ham radio. Even if you’re not a licensed ham, a member of another club or just passing thru the area and want to see what’s going on with our bunch, please feel free to join us at one of our meetings or club activities any time. Our thing is about sharing our enjoyment of the hobby with any and all who will give us the opportunity.
