Role and Responsibilities
• Proficient Lathe Operation
• Programming (Fanuc or Mazak controls)
• Tool Changes and Setup to Maximize Efficiency
• Measuring
• Forklift Operation
• Machining & Trouble Shooting
• Accurate Paper Work
• Overhead Crane Operation
• Machine and Area Cleanliness
• Other Duties as assigned Experienced in a machine shop. 2 Years CNC Lathe operation preferred. Steel and large parts knowledge preferred. Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 75 lbs. Must know how to read and mark using a tape measure. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
2+ Yrs. experience operating and programming CNC machines preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (Math, Reading, Writing) along with good computer skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and good teamwork skills
Trainable and Flexible, strong willingness to learn
Self-Motivated
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift heavy objects 50-75 lbs.
Preferred Skills
Requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Driver’s License
Must be over 18
