E.I.T. Civil Engineering - Transportation Engineer
Tri City Engineering is a well-established engineering firm in Fresno with 41 years of experience in the Central Valley area and is seeking a Civil Engineer Graduate with a current EIT Certificate. We are committed to providing sound design and consulting to our clients through our highly motivated employees. We are looking for a talented, dynamic and knowledgeable engineer with excellent communication skills who will maintain a high standard of care and develop strong client relations. Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Minimum Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• E.I.T. Certificate from California
• AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge required
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Min. 1-2 years experience in street improvements, utility infrastructure design, land development and/or commercial site development
Ideal Candidate should demonstrate:
• Basic knowledge of Specifications and Cost Estimating
• Basic knowledge of City and Caltrans Standards
• Basic knowledge of Grading Plans, Improvement Plans, Final Maps
• Basic knowledge of Erosion Control Plans and Stormwater Control Plans
• Basic knowledge of Americans with Disability Act
• Basic knowledge of standard construction means and methods as it applies to public improvements
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently and be responsive in a timely manner
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including a computer and assigned software
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and assignments
• Be well organized, maintain plan check and observation records, and accurately communicate the status of each project
