Quaker is proud to support the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design’s Dirt Works Studio on the Kaw House, a student-designed and student-built home created in partnership with Tenants to Homeowners.

From concept to construction, this student-led project provided hands-on experience designing and building a home that will offer affordable housing for someone transitioning out of homelessness in the Lawrence community. Along the way, students gained real-world experience collaborating with industry partners and working with the systems, materials, and processes used in today's residential construction.

Quaker is honored to play a role in supporting educational initiatives that strengthen the future of the building industry while contributing to meaningful community development.
