Our client didn't exactly draw the easy assignment on this one in southern Connecticut. Early on they were sinking 5-6 casings a day and managing one blast a week, questioning whether the schedule and budget were even reachable. Through collaboration with the REV team, equipment adjustments, and dialed-in methods, they finished strong at 18-20 casings a day. On time and on budget.

When the job site is just outside Deadhorse, Alaska, and temperatures bottom out at -70, you need equipment that won't let you down.

This project called for drilling through permafrost to set elevated foundations for gas pipelines, elevated specifically to preserve wildlife migration corridors. The engineering challenge was real. So was the environment.

We were selected for two reasons: the power to punch through one of the hardest materials on earth and the simplicity to swap tooling fast, keeping downtime as low as possible in brutally harsh conditions.

Permafrost doesn't negotiate. The REV Model 30HDT doesn't either. 14,000 ft/lbs of torque going straight through frozen ground, miles from the nearest support, without flinching.

That decision, born out of necessity in a small machine shop outside Lansing, MI became the foundation of REV Drill.

Since delivering Serial #001 to a construction company in Half Moon Bay, CA, we've stayed true to the principles that got us here:
