Acme/Thor team (just sharing with my mechanical friends ) the accuracy and precision of modern day machines is amazing ! The fabrication machining painting an assembly  it’s just amazing . The mounting holes between the foundation and gearbox has a + or - .001 tolerance .  in the past both of these parts would be drilled under size and reamed as a match set . The foundation was machined to finish size on a CNC horizontal mill . The gearbox was machined to finish size on a CNC vertical mill . The turn bolts / body fit bolts with a tolerance of .0005 was machined on CNC lath . watching at assembly all eight turn bolts being installed perfectly with a soft faced hammer it’s just amazing ! 🔥💪🇺🇸❤️made in USA
