Singulation looks straightforward on paper.

In practice: a hopper conveyor on a modular plastic belt feeding a chicane of low-profile flat belt conveyors. Standard components, configured for this specific problem. Two conveyors with a specialized flip point so the camera can image both sides of each part.

Getting the spacing consistent took work. When it held, the cell ran for years. The customer came back for another.

Following recent events in the candy world that shall not be named (KitKat, it's KitKat ), Direct Conveyors has made the executive decision to refer ALL incoming requests for food-grade candy decanting, sorting, and repackaging conveyors to the proper authorities.

We asked no questions. Our machines asked no questions. The conveyor belt simply conveyed. It did not judge. It does not judge. It will never judge. Unlike Dave from accounting, who is judging very hard right now.

To our customers: we love you. To the candy investigators: we love you too, please don't audit us. To the KitKats: we're so sorry for what happened. You deserved better.
