It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of our dear co-worker, Jerry Williams.
Jerry was a valued member of our team for over 10 years. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him.
To support his family during this difficult time, we are collecting donations. If you would like to contribute, please give your donation to your supervisor or bring it to the HR office.

Attention 1st shift NMMI employees:
We continue to have issues with our fire suppression system.
Tomorrow, March 18, 2025:
Forming Group Leaders and Rovers will report to work.
Forming machine operators will be off work; no point, no pay.

Assembly and Bonded Bushing departments will continue operating as normal.

Paint machine operators and group leads will be off work; no point, no pay.
Paint pretreat and wastewater will report to work.

Employees in the QA and PC department will be notified individually if they are not needed to report to work. If you do not hear anything from NMMI, then you are scheduled to work.

Attention 2nd & 3rd Shift Forming Personnel (Tube, Solid, Autocoin, Cut, etc.):

Due to issues with our fire suppression system, we will not run 2nd or 3rd shift Forming departments today, March 17, 2025. If you work in the Forming department on these shifts, do not report to work today—there will be no points and no pay.
Unless otherwise notified, you are scheduled to return on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Assembly and Bonded Bushing departments will continue operating as normal.
Paint department personnel: The majority will not need to report, but those employees will be notified individually.
Employees in the QA and PC department will be notified individually if they are not needed to report to work. If you do not hear anything from NMMI, then you are scheduled to work.

Due to flooding; 3rd shift will not report to work tonight.
1st shift will report to work as normal.

The water is already starting to recede, and we are hopeful that most roads will be drivable by tomorrow morning. We will provide updates if needed.

Please use your best judgment when deciding whether it is safe for you to drive. Our normal weather procedures will apply, and we will review the number of absences to determine if any point adjustments are necessary.

NMMI Softball Team pulled out a win 22-6. We will start our tournament tomorrow 8/3 @ 7:30 pm at Jim Roberts Park. Please come out and cheer your co-workers on.

No 2nd shift production at NMMI today. All employees (with the exception of maintenance) do not need to report to work today. We will still have maintenance activities.
TVA asked us to shutdown our equipment in order to reserve energy because of the cold weather.
