We're looking to hire a Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate would have some experience using precision measuring equipment, and the ability to read and understand blueprints. We are willing to train the right person though.

There is room for growth in this position. FMC has a need for someone to help keep up on quality inspection equipment certifications and help support our ISO 9001 certification from the quality side. Salary would depend on experience. Pay is weekly.

Experience:

• Using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, optical comparators, linear height gages, etc.) – 2 years (preferred)
• Reading and understanding blueprints (dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, etc.) – 2 years (preferred)
• General Knowledge of quality systems in a manufacturing environment – 2 years (preferred)
• Any knowledge of CAD software and/or working with 3D solid models would be helpful.

⚡️ New Wire EDM ⚡️

We're excited to add a great new Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) to our manufacturing arsenal! Check out this short video of our Fanuc a-C400iC in action. With a total of 6 axes, including the rotary head, we are able to cut intricate geometry with extreme precision. Hardened steel and even tungsten carbide are no problem for this awesome new addition. The cutting speed compared to older wire EDMs is also much faster!

For nearly seven decades, Frankfort Manufacturing Co. has provided high-quality machining, milling and manufacturing services. At first we specialized in carbide and steel products for the cold heading industry. We expanded into wood processing knives, medical components and specialized milled parts for a wide variety of industrial applications. We then installed a series of CNC mills and lathes to help manufacture high-performing, long-lasting industrial automation products. In 2018 we built a 4,000-square-foot addition to assemble precision parts and sophisticated components into equipment used on assembly lines across the nation and around the globe.
