This holiday weekend, we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything for this country. Freedom was never free, and the lives we live today were paid for by courage, sacrifice, and generations of Americans willing to stand in the gap.

As we spend time with family, fire up the grill, hit the lake, or simply enjoy the peace of another sunrise, may we never forget those who never made it home.

Thank God for this life.
Thank God for the freedoms we still have.
And thank God for the brave souls who defended them from the skies, the seas, and the ground below.
