We are seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in steel fabrication. This candidate must be able to consult with customers, contractors, and vendors to discuss and manage large projects. Must have the ability to analyze contract drawings, specifications, and have experience in developing schedules, and sequencing plans, to ensure the productivity and profitability of the project. Strong interpersonal skills are essential (verbal and written).

Responsibilities:

Correspond with the customer regarding all aspects of the project
Be fully knowledgeable of all detailed drawings for jobs
Manage project timeline and delivery
Purchase all necessary materials from vendors
Work closely with the shop foreman to ensure project accuracy and that deadlines are met
Backup other project managers and perform other work as required

Qualifications:

Must be professional in appearance and communication, written and verbal
Must work well with a team
Experience in project management
Proficient with CAD and EJE estimating software
Can read drawings
Familiarity with tools/equipment used in the fabrication, er****on, and installation of structural and miscellaneous steel
Can manage multiple projects and timelines at one time.
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Able to pass a drug and background check
Ability to speak Spanish is a major plus.

Potential candidate must be able to setup welding machine for different thickness for welding test. And past welding test. Must also be able to measure and read a measuring tape to the 16th .
Must be able to pass a drug test. Application by appointment only. Must have own welding hood. And must wear mask at all times.
